Barcelona-based Japanese artist Mina Hamada breathes raw energy into a rare T-Rex poster from 1977, originally from Bristol Beacon (then Colston Hall). Channelling the unruly pulse of the glam rock movement, Mina overlays her thrash-metal-meets-punk abstract style onto one of the band’s final performances - a show that later sparked the release of a mini album capturing that very gig. Her work amplifies the genre-defying, glitter-and-grit legacy of T-Rex while spinning the thread wider to include a global perspective on rebellion, sound and style.
