Sickboy takes an early IDLES poster and overlays it with his signature mantra-like text, invoking the band’s primal energy and the moment they found their voice. Staged at The Louisiana - a hallowed training ground for countless Bristol bands - this gig was a turning point. The poster becomes a mirror to Sickboy’s own journey: both he and IDLES emerge from the same soil of chaos, protest and poetic grime. Co-curating this exhibition with Dev from IDLES only amplifies the resonance.
